The mission of the Golden Gavel Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

Welcome to Golden Gavel Toastmasters Club!

If you:

are uncomfortable speaking in front of a group of three or three hundred and wish to learn to overcome this fear of public speaking,
want to develop your leadership skills in a fun and non- intimidating environment, and
want to learn valuable life and career skills, and make new friends in the process.

Golden Gavel Toastmasters, are pleased to offer our members a collegial and friendly atmosphere where they can develop and practice communication and leadership skills. The support and encouragement we receive from fellow members is what makes Toastmasters a truly rewarding and enjoyable experience.

As a member of a Toastmasters International club, you will be part of a world wide organization that has helped thousands become better communicators and leaders through practical exercises and member evaluation. Everyone is free to participate at their own pace, but beware the enthusiasm of our club is contagious.

We would be pleased to have you to visit our club. We meet every Wednesday night at the Elgin West Community Centre in Richmond Hill (11099 Bathurst Street) from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
